Gold development
From fieldwork to site preparation
Babban Tsauni is the focus of Aurelia’s gold development plans. Mapping of artisanal workings, a pitting programme and earlier drilling have helped the team understand the project’s geology and alluvial gravels.
The March 2026 presentation records mining equipment assembled and tested on site. Production commencement will be reported through a confirmed operational update.

The team mapped 99 active artisanal workings across the licence to inform subsequent fieldwork.

Pitting programme
More than 550 pits were dug, logged, sampled and tested to investigate the extent of gold-bearing alluvial gravels.

Further exploration
More ground to investigate
The presentation describes untested geophysical targets and scope for further work beyond the areas investigated to date. Future exploration would assess these targets and improve understanding of the wider project.
Exploration potential does not establish an economically recoverable deposit. Resource estimates and exploration targets are not presented here pending review of the supporting technical disclosures.
